2007 June12 - what's blooming

The peonies are wilting away now. Daylilies, astilbe, blue hosta, acanthus, sundrops and filipendula are blooming. Dianthus seem to be doing well in the sunny windowboxes. Pruned the climbing roses and the purple rhododendron. We'll see if that produces results. Clematis just beginning to bloom. I'll be able to get back to pruning the forsythia soon once I heal up from cutting off my fingernail. That was revolting but has healed remarkably well. Need to be more careful with those pruners next time!
